Central Railway (CR) has gifted travellers travelling to Goa for new year an unexpected gift. A special air conditioned train running between CST and Madgaon will start from Wednesday evening for 8 days, bookings for this train starts at 8am from Wednesday itself.

Where flight rates reaching up to 25000/- per person and bus fares around 2500/- per person this train is a definite gift for new year revellers as the ticket rates for First AC is only Rs 1,799/- per person and gets as cheap as Rs 782/- per person for Third AC.

The train Mumbai-Goa New Year Special will halt at CST, Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Ratnagiri, Thivim, Karmali and Madgaon in both directions.
